Sales Engineer South Italy
Main responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for the promotion and sales of the company’s products in the South of Italy, including islands, under the responsibility of the Sales Manager Equipment & Rock Tools Italy, Balkans & Mediterranean. He/she will be required to develop sales in the area under his/her responsibility, being a point of reference for customers and dealers and identifying potential customers.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage sales within South Italy;
- Retain and grow business with existing customers and generate sales from new customers;
- Anticipate and understand customers’ needs and match them with the company’s product offering, to maximize customer value and sales profit;
- Visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization;
- Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services;
- Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets;
- Collect and communicate relevant business and market intelligence information to product and sales management through the designated channels;
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans, prioritizing and scheduling activities in order to meet the required targets;
- Cooperate with the Service team in order to identify and address customers’ needs in a proactive and efficient way.
Candidate profile
- Technical University Degree or equivalent experience in the role dealing with Construction customers;
- Minimum experience of 5 years in B2B Technical Sales (preferably from Earth-Moving Machines and Equipment, Constructions or Special Foundations Works);
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken);
- Valid driving license;
- Service minded, strong communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team.
Location
The position will be home-based. The ideal candidate should have residence in the South of Italy (ideally South Lazio, Campania, Puglia).
