Sales Area Manager Overseas

Main responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager Overseas, the candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products in the relevant territories, managing relationships with existing customers and identifying new opportunities in order to maximize sales value and ensure a successful and lasting partnership.

Main responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial management, customer relations, and strategic expansion of the client portfolio;
  • Lead negotiations and successfully close contracts;
  • Present and promote the Group's product portfolio to prospective and existing clients;
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, track industry trends, and monitor competitors’ activity;
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities while driving market expansion;
  • Manage and monitor assigned sales budgets to ensure financial targets are met;
  • Collaborate on internal coordination of proposals and contribute to compliance reporting;
  • Supervise and liaise with national and international sales agents to optimize commercial performance.

Candidate profile

  • Extensive experience in sales within an industrial environment, preferably in the Packaging sector or supplying Wineries (such as cardboard companies, graphic arts, cork industry, bottle manufacturers, etc.);
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Wine and Winery industry, with an existing network of verifiable contacts in Winery purchasing departments;
  • Experience in CRM and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is expected;
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of an additional language is preferred;
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field;
  • Strong sales-oriented mindset, with a passion for negotiation and selling technical solutions;
  • Goal-oriented, accustomed to working autonomously while reporting remotely and collaborating within a team;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
