Sales Manager

Main responsibilities

The Sales Manager, reporting to the Commercial Management, will be responsible for implementing and overseeing sales strategies, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, and managing a field force team to support business growth and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long- and medium-term Strategy for the Italian market for the private channel in order to support the achievement of Sales targets such as Sell-In (dealer stock), Sell-Out (sales and registration volumes), Market Share and product mix.
  • Employ management powers, assigned by Sales Management, respecting defined guidelines, plans and strategies, Company policies and procedures, issued by Sales Management 
  • Manage relationships with official Dealers, ensuring a constant monitoring of registrations levels in the area of competence and of the flow of information among official Dealers Network and the Company 
  • Check physical/virtual Stock levels (duration, quality, quantity) of Dealers
  • Analyze and evaluate the activity of field force team and provide for their training and update, about procedures, programs and campaigns, working with Marketing and Finance Departments
  • Analyze the main  market performances index, evaluating the competitors’ activities, providing guidance in order to improve the business targets of Dealers
  • Simplify the communication and promote information sharing among Dealer Network, Suppliers and all other Company functions
  • Monitor Dealers level of financial capacity, intervening promptly, when needed, to reduce the financial risk linked to business activities

Candidate profile

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record in similar roles, with solid expertise in sales within the automotive industry
  • Able to perform under tight deadlines, driving results and managing performance effectively
  • Collaborative mindset with a results-oriented approach, capable of working seamlessly within teams and achieving targets
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and support decision-making processes
  • Ability to foster cooperation across the organization and with the field force, building productive relationships at all levels
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
