Business Controller
Main responsibilities
Reporting to the Business Services Manager, the role involves managing financial matters within the cluster, overseeing financial controlling activities, and collaborating with the Business Services Manager. This position will support the Director of Operations Cluster and the Director of Commercial Cluster and drive change by developing the finance function.
Key responsabilities:
- Product cost planning, analysis, and reporting
- Guide cost analysis process through policies and techniques
- Inventory accounting and reconciliation
- Support Operations & Supply Chain in inventory management and write-offs
- Setup and delivery of cluster budget and forecast
- Monitor variances
- Period-end analysis and reporting
- Ensure timely database updates and data integrity
- Conduct comparative data analysis
- Manage end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification and post-investment reviews
- Recommend improvements in policies, processes, and practices
- Act as a change champion for global and sub-regional procedures deployment
Candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Master degree preferred for larger and complex cluster or in an related field
- 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst or controller, or 3 years in a business services role in an international organization
- Basic knowledge and ability to quickly learn and gain experience in other areas of expertise
- Understanding of Company's business and key processes
- Knowledge of cluster operations, supplier and client landscape
- Insight into sales and product mix, and impact of production changes on profitability
- Deep understanding of financial controlling, budgeting, and forecasting processes/models
- Expertise in profitability analysis, variance analysis, costing deviation, and working capital monitoring
- Knowledge of the cost structure of the cluster
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections
- Experience with short and long-term budgeting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis
- Strong affinity with technology
- Quick adaptation to new technology tools and processes
- Familiarity with budget planning and enforcement processes and procedures
- English – proficient verbal & writing
