For one of their Italian sites, IMI Remosa, based in Sardinia, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced:

HR Manager

Main responsibilities

The candidate will lead the HR function in a site which is currently going through a process of transformation that requires significant change management both from operational and cultural perspective. It is also facing a tremendous moment of growth and is expected to continue to grow in the next few years.

Reporting directly to the Site Managing Director and in dotted line to the EMEA HR Director, the candidate will act as business partner for the Managing Director and the local Management Team and will play a crucial role by managing all aspects of employee relations, from recruitment and hiring to training, performance evaluation. He/she will facilitate communication between employees and management, whilst ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies, promoting a positive culture and fostering employee engagement and development. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for payroll and benefits administration.

  • Deploy HR strategies in alignment with the overall business strategy and with the HR corporate/regional guidelines;
  • Work with local Management Team to analyze and boost employee engagement; co-own survey rollouts and analysis; lead and manage action plans and KPI’s
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Drive talent management activities as to ensure robust development plans for employees and robust talent assessment and succession plans for the site
  • Manage and oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout HR Management
  • Work with EMEA HRD to ensure that the Sector strategy is effectively implemented in the local site
  • Liaise with the Regional HR team to ensure the alignment to the Regional strategy
  • Partner with the HR peers within the Regional Team as to share and leverage on best practices and contribute to initiatives and projects centrally promoted by the Regional HR team
  • Manage Union relations at site level, establishing effective relationships with internal Union representatives.

Candidate profile

  • Master Degree in Business Administration or Psychology
  • Fluency in English
  • Previous experience as HR Manager and/or HR Business Partner in multinational companies with complex matrix organizations is a must
  • Proven Coaching capabilities and previous in-house experience as Business & Executive Coach (ICF certification or similar is a plus)
  • Relevant experience in the area of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management
  • Good knowledge of Italian labor law
  • Knowledge of the most common HR platforms/ systems
  • Proven experience with HR metrics
  • Excellent communication, active listening and negotiation skill
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Proven ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels in the company
  • Solid leadership skills
