LEAN LEADER ITALY

Main responsibilities

He/she will report to the Corporate and he/she will be a member of the European Performance team, working across the organization of the Italian plants to improve productivity and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

Continuously challenging performance across existing supply chain process:

  • Identifying & quantifying potential for improvement;
  • Leading optimization of physical & information flows, surface, leading time, directing labor and equipment efficiency through diagnostic and transformation;
  • Supporting other departments to strive for process excellence: Safety (zero accidents), Customer satisfaction & Quality (process robustness), On-time delivery (capacity), People (Competencies);
  • Collaborating to create shared improvement roadmap to achieve the targets and ensure its realization (Direct labor productivity, lead-time, organizational efficiency, internal process capacity & on-time delivery, etc.).

Standardizing and Deploying for Exemplary Results:

  • Promoting the production system of the company and ensuring animation to become part of DNA;
  • Contributing and leading continuous improvement of the company’s performance system at entity level;
  • Deploying & managing standards, methodologies and tools, through leveraging the network of Subject Matter Experts.

Training & Coaching for Sustainability:

  • Co-assessing current competencies vs referential to identify gaps and support action plan creation;
  • Growing and sustaining competencies, develop and promote talents.

Candidate profile

  • Relevant experience in lean manufacturing within industrial environments;
  • Ability to perform manufacturing process diagnosis and propose adequate organizational and technical changes with an effective usage of lean manufacturing tools and methodologies;
  • General awareness about highest manufacturing standards including safety, ergonomic, environmental, quality aspects. Knowledge of the latest manufacturing trends with focus on
    automation and digitization;
  • Familiar with continuous improvement approach (Kaizen Blitz, 6 sigma). Ability to drive performance improvement with usage of methodology;
  • Oriented to achieve sustainable results with progress follow-up through key performance indicators monitoring and stakeholder engagement. Addresses obstacles in a timely manner and regularly seeks for the next steps after the accomplishment of a given target;
  • Digital acumen. Knowledge of the latest technology trends and able to lead digital transformation to improve efficiency of organization;
  • Strongly developed interpersonal skill, convincing and influencing. Ease to build and manage networking and use it effectively to reach goals. Ability to work across the organization at different levels and to train and coach others helping them to develop;
  • Fluent in English.
