Senior Project Manager

Main responsibilities

The position is based in Milan and reports directly to the Head of Delivery Project Management

His/her main goal is to ensure and coordinate successfully all projects’ deliveries for the main strategic clients. He/she is accountable to meet the delivery commitments in adequacy with project Milestones. The Project Manager will contribute to presales in defining and presenting the project plan included in the Lectra proposal. The Project Manager has to anticipate possible critical states of the project, by suggesting technical best practices to customers in order to guarantee the highest level of client satisfaction

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• to define the project with the Professional Services and sales team, including the quotation definition and the project sizing
• being the main point of contact with the customer during the delivery phase and being responsible for defining and monitoring the project planning.
• Ensuring timesheets availability and consistency, defines invoicing plan according to SOW and in coordination with financial coordinator, defines project quality plan and organizes project governance
• To run risks, incidents and raises alerts accordingly (cost, delay, quality),
• To manage documentations and their consistency in the available platform (SharePoint) and to ensure the follow up developments, customizations and implementation, as well as regular reports.
• To make sure that all internal and external stakeholders are aligned to achieve the goals and objectives of the project on time and within budget.
• To contribute during the pre-sales stage in order to improve sales opportunities to the account managers

Candidate profile

PROFILE:

• Bachelor/master’s degree in management, computer science technologies or engineering or related area will be required
• 10 years or above working experience will be a minimum, among which, 5 years direct Project Management relevant experience in Fashion industry is preferred, as a Project Manager for implementation of “enterprise” software solutions such as PLM/PDM, ERP, CRM, IT, etc.

• Strong capability to lead a project in terms of high quality standard delivery for the client, respect of the contractual engagement from both sides, development and management (functional and direct) of collaborators
